Dawn Gardner Krosnick, who is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and holds an advanced degree in genetics, is Of Counsel at Rakoczy Molino Mazzochi Siwik LLP.
Ms. Krosnick’s practice focuses primarily on patent opinion and patent counseling and strategy, including extensive experience in the pharmaceutical field. She also has considerable experience in preparing and prosecuting domestic, international, and foreign patent applications in a variety of technical arts, including genes, gene expression systems, proteins, antibodies, small molecules, vaccines, artificial immune systems, and pharmaceutical formulations and methods of treatment with pharmaceuticals. Ms. Krosnick also performs intellectual property due diligence investigations and company acquisitions. She also has experience with intellectual property licensing.
Prior to joining Rakoczy Molino Mazzochi Siwik LLP, Ms. Krosnick practiced patent law for a number of years at law firms in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Krosnick also participated in the National Institutes of Health Pre-Doctoral Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) fellowship program. During her fellowship, she did research at the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) where, among other things, she designed and conducted experiments using molecular biology techniques.
